MALE PERFORMER OPPORTUNITIES
Perform with Book A Dancer
Know how to work a room? Bring the personality—and the professionalism.
Book A Dancer welcomes applications from male dancers and entertainers interested in performing at private celebrations. We’re looking for confidence, reliability, clear communication, and respect for everyone’s boundaries.
Experienced performers are welcome. New applicants may also be considered—you do not need an extensive professional résumé to introduce yourself.
Applicants must be 21 or older.
Who Should Apply
A memorable performance starts before the music does.
We’re interested in applicants who:
- Communicate clearly and respond reliably.
- Arrive prepared and on time.
- Feel comfortable entertaining private groups—or are ready to discuss what that involves.
- Respect consent, personal boundaries, and venue rules.
- Have reliable transportation to and from accepted bookings.
- Can accurately describe their availability and the areas they can serve.
Experience with private parties, stage shows, clubs, dance, or other live entertainment is useful, but extensive experience is not required to apply.
Appropriate applicants may be invited to an interview and/or audition before approval. Applying does not include a promise of training or mentoring.
Kansas City Performers Wanted
We’re recruiting performers who can reliably serve the Kansas City area. This is a performer recruitment priority; normal customer booking availability has not been reopened.
Based somewhere else? You’re welcome to apply.
Tell us your home city, state, travel range, and availability. We review applications from other markets as well, including locations where we may be able to expand coverage.
An application does not establish customer-booking availability in a market.
What the Opportunities Involve
Book A Dancer coordinates male entertainment for bachelorette parties, birthdays, girls’ nights, and other private adult celebrations.
Opportunities may involve permitted private homes, hotels, vacation rentals, and similar private venues. Performing for a private group can differ from working a stage or club, so we’ll discuss your experience, preferences, and readiness during screening.
Performance opportunities are offered on a booking-by-booking basis based on location, availability, and fit.
Compensation and any applicable travel arrangements are disclosed before a performer accepts a specific booking opportunity.
Consent, professional conduct, and respect for personal boundaries are essential throughout every performance.
How Selection Works
1. Introduce Yourself
Complete the application with accurate contact details, your location, availability, and two recent, non-explicit photos.
2. Application Review
The owner reviews applications and may contact you for additional information.
3. Interview and/or Audition
Appropriate applicants may be invited to discuss their experience and demonstrate their performance skills before approval.
4. Confirm the Details
Before receiving booking opportunities, approved applicants complete the applicable onboarding steps and confirm the areas and circumstances they can reliably serve.
5. Consider Individual Opportunities
Any booking opportunity is considered against your location, availability, and suitability for that particular event. Approval does not guarantee bookings or income.
Apply to Perform
Tell us what you bring to the room and where you can reliably bring it.
Please provide current, accurate information. New applicants can select New to performing in the experience section.
Have two recent photos ready: one clear portrait and one full-length image. Keep both non-explicit. Do not submit nude images, identification documents, or tax information.
Performance and social-media links are optional.
Performer FAQs
Do I need professional experience?
No. Experience may be preferred, but new applicants may also be considered. Appropriate applicants may be invited to an interview and/or audition before approval.
Will you provide training?
Submitting an application does not include a promise of training or mentoring. We’ll review your current experience and readiness as part of the selection process.
Can I apply outside Kansas City?
Yes. Kansas City is a current recruiting priority, but applications from other markets are welcome. Tell us where you’re based and how far you can reliably travel.
Do I have to accept every opportunity?
Each opportunity is considered individually. Compensation and any applicable travel arrangements are disclosed before you decide whether to accept a specific booking.
What if I already perform with a revue or agency?
You may apply. Tell us about your current performance arrangements and raise any restrictions that could affect accepting other opportunities. Applying does not override an existing agreement.
Are bookings or earnings guaranteed?
No. Applying, completing an audition, or being approved does not guarantee bookings or income.
What photos should I submit?
Submit one recent, clear portrait and one recent full-length image of yourself. Use non-explicit photos that accurately represent your current appearance. Please avoid group photos and substantial appearance-altering filters.
Do I need a performance video?
No. A performance link is optional on the initial application. Additional information or an audition may be requested during screening.
Will my photos or videos be published?
No public or marketing-use permission is granted through this application. Submitted photos and media are for private applicant screening. Any proposed public use would require separate permission.
When will I hear back?
The owner reviews applications and follows up when additional information, an interview, or an audition is appropriate. We do not promise a specific response timeframe.
